New York, New York – [Aug. 6, 2026] – Taurus, a global provider of digital asset infrastructure for financial institutions, and MPCH, a provider of secure infrastructure and managed hosting services for digital asset operations, today announced their partnership on expanding secure, U.S.-based infrastructure for regulated organizations.
The collaboration is intended to establish a dedicated deployment environment for Taurus within MPCH's high-security U.S. facilities. Under the proposed deployment, MPCH will provide a dedicated secured area supported by its proprietary secure infrastructure environment and managed infrastructure services for Taurus' Hardware Security Module (HSM)-based custody platform. Taurus will retain control of its HSM technology and cryptographic operations while gaining a highly secure U.S.-based physical deployment option for customers with U.S. infrastructure requirements.
Secure U.S. infrastructure for HSM-based custody
Financial institutions expect digital asset custody infrastructure to meet the same high standards of security, governance, and resilience applied to other critical financial systems. For many U.S. institutions, this also means having the option to operate critical custody infrastructure within secure domestic facilities.
The planned deployment is expected to support banks, custodians, exchanges, enterprises, government agencies, and other regulated organizations that require secure digital asset infrastructure hosted within the United States. By combining Taurus' institutional custody platform with MPCH's secure facilities and managed infrastructure services, the organizations aim to help customers address growing requirements for data residency, operational resilience, and infrastructure sovereignty.
Preparing for post-quantum migration
HSM-based custody also provides a practical route for future cryptographic upgrades. Tier-one HSMs can support certain post-quantum signature algorithms within a protected hardware boundary, subject to the required firmware and certification. This allows institutions to test and adopt new cryptographic methods without replacing their entire custody architecture.
“Financial institutions need the flexibility to deploy digital asset infrastructure in a way that meets their specific security, resilience, and regulatory requirements,” said Milena Kohlhofer, Strategic Partnerships Executive at Taurus. “Our collaboration with MPCH will expand the deployment options available to U.S. institutions by combining secure, domestic infrastructure with Taurus’ enterprise-grade custody technology. A controlled environment for HSM-based infrastructure, together with Taurus’ cryptographic agility, gives institutions a stronger foundation to prepare for future post-quantum migration while retaining control over their cryptographic operations and custody environment.”
The deployment is expected to include geographically separated disaster recovery, enterprise-grade physical security, resilient network architecture, and operational controls designed to support business continuity. Hosting within MPCH’s secure U.S Facilities will provide Taurus with a domestic infrastructure option that helps customers satisfy evolving regulatory and operational expectations while maintaining control of their custody environment.
"Institutional adoption of digital assets continues to accelerate, but success depends on more than custody and technology alone,” said Miles Parry, CEO of MPCH. “Organizations also need trusted infrastructure that aligns with their security, operational, and regulatory requirements. Our collaboration with Taurus reflects a shared commitment to expanding secure U.S-based infrastructure that gives regulated institutions greater flexibility in how they deploy digital asset services."
Additional details regarding deployment timelines and service availability will be announced as the collaboration progresses.
