The award recognizes the most significant strategic collaboration between a financial institution and a technology firm in the digital asset space. Taurus and State Street were selected for their joint efforts to deliver regulated, institutional-grade digital asset capabilities that integrate seamlessly with existing financial infrastructure.
In August 2024, State Street announced a strategic agreement with Taurus to enhance its digital asset division, State Street Digital. As part of this agreement, State Street is leveraging three of Taurus’ industry-leading products: Taurus-PROTECT, a custody platform for secure digital asset storage; Taurus-CAPITAL, which streamlines the creation and lifecycle management of tokenized assets; and Taurus-EXPLORER, which enables blockchain connectivity across dozens of different protocols.
